SNS and Guanín Foundation sign agreement to strengthen First Level of Care in the community of la Piedra, Boca Chica, DR.
The National Health Service and the Guanín Foundation signed a cooperation agreement for the strengthening of primary health care in the municipality of Boca Chica, community of la Piedra. The agreement seeks to put into operation the primary health center in this community.
The purpose of this agreement is to strengthen the infrastructure and services of the First Level Health Center La Piedra, which will become a gateway to the National Health System based on Primary Health Care, and will operate providing the portfolio of health services defined by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance ("MSP") this project will benefit a population of 1170 families at the Community of La Piedra, and surrounding areas.
The First Level Center of UNAP La Piedra, will be part of the Public Network of establishments of the National Health Service (SNS).
The agreement was signed by the Director of the SNS, Dr. Mario Lama and the president of the Guanín Foundation, Elías Severino Hernández.
